‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’ Remastered News Update: Game Set To Be Sold Separately?

In line with Activision's "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remastered, the game is rumoredto be a remastered purchase, as per reports.

In his intervew with Game Reactor, as cited by PlayStation Lifestyle, Raven Software game director David Pellas suggested that the forthcoming "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remasteered might be sold separately from "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

In a statement, Pellas said that what they had announced before today had been that they had been going to offer ten maps on launch and that was still true. He added that the announcement was that the six remaining maps they were actually going to be delivering to anyone who purchases "Modern Warfare" Remastered.

For the game director, anyone who owned the game or a version of "Infinite Warfare" that came with it were going to get all 16 of the maps for no additional cost. According to the publication, Pellas' use of the word "or" in his statement gives a hint that the forthcoming title is set to be sold separately.

According to Game Rant, Pellas' statement could have been a "slip of the tongue," although the director might be trying to pinpoint that players can get "Modern Warfare" Remastered by securing a copy of "Infinite Warfare."

With the aforementioned details, Activision or Raven Software are yet to confirm to clarify them.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remastered and "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" are assumed to be released on Nov. 4.
