'Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered’ News: Six Maps and Two Game Modes Added

The "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" will include six new maps and two new game modes, along with a Christmas-themed element that will come out on Dec. 20.

According to Gamespot, there will be six missing maps which include the Bloc, Countdown, Strike, Pipeline, Showdown and Wet Works. These are the maps that can be found in the "Call of Duty 4." The original 2007 "Modern Warfare" only has 10 maps.

This "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" update will arrive on Dec. 13, according to the news report.

There are also two new modes, titled Hardpoint and Gun Game, which are added to the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. As fans know, Hardpoint was first introduced in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" while Gun Game can be found in "Call of Duty: Black Ops."

"We're throwing in an additional chilly bonus as all Modern Warfare Remastered players will also get the remastered Winter Crash map in all its glory," wrote Kevin Kelly, Activision blog editorial manager, announced. "We'll be running a 24/7 Winter Crash playlist beginning on December 20 that will last through the holidays."

But then again, Christmas is much happier for others, particularly those who own "Infinite Warfare" or "Black Ops 3." They will get Hailstorm - Thunder pistol, which features two modes: auto burst or Whirlwind and Focus, which will reduce movement while trying to take down an enemy.

Watch out for more news on "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered," which will be published here when they come along.
