" Captain Phillips" is a new upcoming major motion film that features Tom Hanks, Catherine Keener, Corey Johnson, and Chris Mulkey. Tom Hanks as Captain Richard Phillips, is featured as the key player in a movie that is based off the 2009 hijacking of Maersk, Alabama. The hijacking was located 145 miles off the Somali coast by two small boats of somali residents whom came aboard the unarmed ship. Director Paul Greengrass's examination of the 2009 hijacking is incredibly extensive and precise as this action packed thriller brings you into a relationship of two men where things completely fall out of their control. 

"Captain Phillips" movie trailer shows the container ship in the middle of an ocean as two small boats began to emerge alongside the ship and release the somali pirates that began taking fire. As Captain Phillips warns his shipmates that they know the ship better than the Somali pirates, he urges them to hide.
