Carman Cancer Update: Singer Seeks Trainer and Dietician for Upcoming Tour to Keep Him Fit and Healthy
Christian artist and evangelist, Carman, is looking for a personal trainer and dietician to go on tour with him to help him maintain a healthy regime to keep his body healthy and cancer free.
"Coming out of a situation like mine then going out on tour, it's going to be imperative that I continuously get in better and better shape for the performance regimen and maintain a proper daily diet. So I'm looking for a trainer to travel with me on tour. Typically we'll be gone 2-3 weeks and home for 10 days. But that's a schedule that changes quite often," he wrote on Facebook.
The singer said he was working with a personal trainer, but they can not travel with him full time and would have to fly back and forth because of the constant motions of a tour.
"It's really all about who's the most qualified and who has a passion to be involved in ministry. Everyone has Thier own room and space on tour so it kinda doesn't matter so much," Carman continued. "If your interested or know somebody you think would be perfect for the job, put together a resume', pictures, website, church and spiritual background, any relevant information and a short letter about yourself and why you feel this is the right position for you. Then send it to A5StarEvent@aol.com."
Carman is believing God will provide the right person for the job, and told his fans to stay tuned for more ministry opportunities.
"We won't be able to answer everyone who mails this in but we will contact those who are the right fit for the job. It'll be an adventure and I'm sure there will be other ministry opportunities that will surface during the tour for those who have a heart to serve. There's somebody qualified who's been looking for something exactly like this and I'd love to hear from you - Carman," he wrote in conclusion.
Carman just announced last week that he is now cancer free, after a tough battle that had him feeling like he was at the end of his road.
"They took tests (and there will be more) P.E.T., MRI, Bone biopsies ect and could find NO trace of Cancer. That's amazing. We're talking about drilling into your bone to search for a cancer cell and coming up empty. And I can feel the difference too. My red blood count is climbing daily and so my cardio is steadily coming back to normal. I've actually got back on the treadmill and could breathe - I was so excited I did 3 miles walking uphill and jogging. I felt normal for the first time in 3 years. The great news is that I'm doing so well that they are cutting my treatments short by 6 weeks. So I'll be going home earlier than expected. I might even have a bit of hair to start the tour with," he posted.
