Nashville, TN -- Just a few short weeks ago, Bishop Jerry L. Maynard and his Cathedral Of Praise Choir received their first Dove Award Nominations for Traditional Gospel Album of the Year and Traditional Gospel Song of the Year ("Just Believe") for their debut CD release.   The choir also had a soul-stirring performance on the 44th Annual Dove Awards Show alongside multiple Dove Award Winner Jason Crabb. The Dove Awards Show is currently airing on the UP Network.  

The spirit-filled, Nashville based choir has continued to maximize their place in music ministry and the gospel music industry.  The COP Choir has advanced on to the second Stellar Gospel Music Awards nominations ballot in two categories:  Traditional Gospel Choir of The Year and Special Event CD of The Year.  Voting is open to the public.  Everyone can log on to www.thestellarawards.com  and vote until November 20th.
