Chief Keef a "Dead Beat" Rapper Fails to pay 20 Grand in Back Child Support Held in Contempt of Court
Chief Keep a "Dead Beat" Rapper Held Under Contempt of Court for Failing to pay Child Support Rapper Chief Keef is about to do just as hit song "Go to Jail" says. The rapper has been ordered to turn himself in after skipping out on his court appearance for child support. Chief Keef was expected to be in Cook County Domestic court September 5, but never showed. Records show that Keef is $20,000 behind in child support payments. Apparently Judge Mary Trew is being lenient on Keef's apparent negligence by setting the rapper another court date for October 21 and not issuing a warrant for his arrest. Keef had two shows lined up in Texas, but his concert promoter ScoreMore recently cancelled both shows due to the 18-year olds legal troubles. Although, I personally think his music lacks substance, there is no reason Keef is not able to pay his support and on time. This will mark the second child support case under Keef's belt. He currently has another seperate child support case pending that was filed this year. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
