Chris August New Single "Center of It" Enters Radio, Lyrics Make Him Reflect on His Recent Injury

Chris August, a singer/songwriter has a new single out in radio today! The song is called "Center of It." August shared the story behind the song at his blog with words, "I wrote this one with my good friend Ben Glover. The core concept of this song is very simple: God is here from the beginning to the end."

In his blog, August continued the story behind the song with the verse from Romans 5:8 and reflected on the meaning of it. August wrote in his reflection, "No matter what we've done, no matter what situation we find ourselves in, no matter how hard life is, Christ never leaves. He is always there. He will be with you. He's in the center of it."

What does Chris August wish for the listeners to realize while listening to his single "Center of It?" August shares, "My prayer is that this song reaches you wherever you are at."

Just recently, Chris August went through a tough season when he had a skateboard accident and got his head injured badly. He was hospitalized and spent some time recovering. For more details on Chris August's accident, read here.

August reflected on his song "Center of It" and connected it to what he recently went through with words, "Listening to this song was pretty crazy after I recently got out of the hospital. We already wrote and recorded it long before my injury happened, but it was just what I needed to hear"¦ that reminder that God has His hand on all areas of my life. No matter what I'm going through, He's right there with me."

"Center of It" will be on Chris August's upcoming album The Upside Of Down . The official release of August's new record The Upside Of Down is scheduled for August - obviously.
