Chris Brown entered a rehab facility for a court ordered stint in rehab that will last ninety days several weeks ago. The incident that finally landed him in rehab was an altercation with a man in Washington D.C. The rehab that Chris Brown is receiving in the Malibu, CA facility is for anger management and is not drug related.

Chris Brown recently told the press that the rehab was working and that he felt like he was in more control of his feelings and emotions lately. He realized that he had been wrong in the past to act the way that he did and rehab is helping him make sure that he will stay out of trouble with the law.

A source told Hollywood Life, "He's at the 'I don't care' stage at this point. He doesn't care what anyone thinks about him being in rehab. He's learning how to trust and believe in himself and not caring about what others think."

Brown originally became a media villain when he attacked Rihanna in 2009 and was convicted of assaulting her. He was put on three years of probation by an LA judge and violated that probation several times. His most recent public mistake was when he threw a rock at his mother's car while he was in rehab.

The "Don't Judge Me" singer is reportedly almost ready to leave rehab and head back out into the world again. Hopefully this time, he will learn to keep his hands to himself when he is upset, otherwise, he could land right back in rehab, or worse.

The source goes on to say, "The media put him on this untouchable pedestal when he first got into the music business. They made him this wholesome little teenage boy who was a great singer and dancer and even compared him to Michael Jackson. That's cool and all, and he appreciated all that publicity."

The trouble came later for Chris Brown when he wanted to ditch his "good boy" image and become a serious artist.
