The award winning, chart topping, Christian music band, Skillet, is beginning to win over the mainstream music fans with their love of God and  their undenyingly good music. Skillet has been around since the middle of the 90's but they're continuing to gain praise from fans old and new. Since releasing their eighth studio album "Rise" this last June, right after their last best selling-album "Awake", lead singer John Cooper says " that the group is the biggest selling band, you have never heard of". 

From being nominated in 2005 and 2007 for the Grammy's, Skillet has continued to rock the world of Christian and Gospel album categories After their 2006 album "Comatose" featuring the hit song "Whispers in the Dark", Skillet has been on the Billboard's rock charts over and over again. With the latest album gaining almost 60,000 copies sold within its first week, Skillet is not leaving the music scene anytime soon. Between the energy and inspirational songs, the band brings such an overwhelming expierence to the concert floor.  Skillet will be in South America starting Thursday for their tour and then  will continue on and join the rockstar band, Nickleback, in Europe on October 26.
