Christian Rapper Bizzle Counters Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' Grammy Performance of 'Same Love' with Biblical Response (VIDEO)

Christian rapper Bizzle released a response track to the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis "Same Love" song, calling out the duo for their controversial stance on Gay marriage.

Sunday night's Grammy Awards were packed with surprises. However, it was what took place during the Best New Artist winners', Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' performance that caught the most attention.

A mass wedding segment between several gay, lesbian, and heterosexual couples took place pushing the pro-gay marriage song. The ceremony then became even more controversial as it ended by referencing the Bible to anoint the proceedings; a choir began singing the Bible's sacred love chapter of Corinthians 13, "Love is Patient, Love is Kind," and Madonna and Mary Lambert sang, "I'm Not Crying on Sunday.

Bizzle's lyrics make it clear that he believes Macklemore is trying to push a "gay agenda" on the masses. The rapper also confronted the duo for associating the LGBT struggle to the Black struggle.

"You rather fight God than fight sin / The Bible is alright until it calls what you like sin / And I feel so disrespected that you were so desperate / You would compare your sexual habits to my skin / Calling it 'the new black?' Tell me, where they do that? / They hung us like tree ornaments, where were you at? / They burned us for entertainment, you go through that?" is a verse in Bizzle's retaliation track.

Bizzle, a once secular artist has opened for Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, and more. After declining a couple of record deals, Bizzle established God Over Money Records in 2008 shortly after releasing his first mixtape. Since then, he has signed several artists.

In that same year, Bizzle began attending church more regularly and his relationship with God increased. In 2010 he released the track, "You Got Some Explaining to Do," a song directed towards Jay-Z, exposing him for his negative references towards Jesus in his lyrics. The result of the diss song led Bizzle to being called the "Christian Rapper that dissed Jay Z." After this he decided that his music should reflect Christian views and bring all glory to Jesus Christ.

He released his first Christian mixtape, The Messenger, in March 2010. The mixtape received much success and has been downloaded over 1 million times.
