Triple threat singer, actress, and dancer, Ciara, confirmed on the View that she is pregnant with her first child.

After months of rumors, the singer confirmed Tuesday on The View that she is expecting a baby with her fiancé, rapper-producer Future.

Ciara hid her baby bump beneath her flowing cape-like dress for the entire interview on The View. Then Barbara Walters asked the question, "There have been rumors about pregnancy. Do you want to confirm?"

A radiant looking Ciara replied, "Of course, I would love to," as she stood up and readily showed off her baby bump for all to see.

"I'm so excited for this year," Ciara explained on show, speaking about her wedding as well.

The baby will be the first together for Ciara and Future. Future has other children from previous relationships. The two began dating in early 2013, and this will be the first marriage for both.

Future, who collaborated with Miley Cyrus on her Bangerz album, announced their engagement last October. To pop the question, Future presented Ciara with an enormous 15-carat diamond engagement ring.

After her surprise proposal, Ciara Tweeted, "Today Has 2 Be Like One Of The Sweetest Days Of My Life! #TheBestBirthdayEver. If I'm Dreaming I Don't Want to Wake up!"

"She's a beautiful woman, amazing, incredible, everything that comes with those words, that's what she represents," Future told Vibe. "We love being around each other and that's just what it is. The chemistry is there. It's amazing. She makes me happy, I make her smile."

"The Goodies" singer told PEOPLE recently "I think I'll be part bridezilla, I'm not going to lie," of wedding planning.??"But I want to be a happy one! I still want it to be a fun process, but I want the dress to be perfect, I want the cake to be perfect, I want the food to be perfect. We're both looking forward to it."
