‘Cities: Skylines' Natural Disaster DLC Trailer News, Recap: Clip Leaks City Destruction In The Clip [WATCH]

Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order have released a trailer for "City: Skylines - Natural Disasters" expansion and it shows how disasters ruin the in-game city.

The clip opens with a city with tall buildings and skyscrapers. The next sequence shows the city hall, surrounded by other structures in the community. The next sequence sees the a wide top view of the city, which is assumed to be the game's construction mode; players are allowed to design the city in various ways they like.

As per the video, "Natural Disasters" also feature various modes of transportation, such as the helicopter (aerial) and the train (land). But the next sequence, shows various titular conditions, such as a falling meteor striking one area of the city, fire, rain, tornado, typhoon, earthquake, tsunamis, and forest fires.

Overall, the clip shows how players design the game local and incorporate the disaster elements later on.

According to Dual Shockers, "Cities: Skylines - Natural Disasters" presents key features, such as keeping the city running through the devastation of possible "doomsday" circumstances like towering infernos, planning for and responding to disasters using early warning system and countermeasures, and a new broadcast network that helps spread evacuation warnings and emergency alerts.

Along with the aforementioned, the game is also set to have a Scenario Mode. As per the publication, this lets players design custom game targets, such as starting cities, structuring time limits and win conditions, and share scenarios to Steam Workshop, among others.

Published by Paradox Interactive, "Cities: Skylines" was initially released for Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Linux, Macintosh, and macOS on Mar. 10.
