Rising young Christian music star Colton Dixon chatted with BreatheCast at the K-LOVE Awards 2014 where he spoke about his new single "More of You" and almost told us the name of his upcoming album.

Dixon was excited about being at the event, but admitted it was a little hot for his liking. "Amazing and a little toasty. I didn't get the memo on it being outside so the velvet blazer is not treating me very well," he told BC.

He was humbled about being nominated for "Best Male Artist of the Year" and said to even be in the same category of his fellow artists was an honor.

"I'm very excited, it's kind of a stiff bracket with people like Chris Tomlin and Matthew West...TobyMac. All these people I grew up listening to so it's sort of like woah...I'm the young one in the group so I appreciate the nomination. I'm just really honored to be in the same bracket. It's cool."

The other nominees were Jeremy Camp and Steven Curtis Chapman. Tomlin would go on to win.

Dixon had the opportunity to perform "More of You" during the award ceremony. "Well I'm actually performing the new single tonight. I'm really excited about that, the new record is going to be out in August. So excited about this record."

After some prodding on the album's title he said,"I can't tell you the name of it yet."

Dixon's music career really took off after he placed seventh on "American Idol" in 2012. A popular contestant on the show, he began to make appearances on TV shows and on Christian outlets.
