'Counting On' Wedding News Update: Jinger Duggar Marries Jeremy Vuolo
Jinger Duggar married her fiancé, Jeremy Vuolo, in front of her family and hundreds of friends in the final episode of "Counting On."
As Jeremy's groomsmen prepared for the ceremony, some of their pieces of clothing went missing. It was not clear whether the items were simply mislabeled or misplaced, but everyone fortunately went out completely dressed for the group photos.
According to Jeremy, it was a "dream come true" that it was his dad who officiated their wedding.
Jeremy and Jinger agreed not to text each other while getting ready for the ceremony, in favor of writing notes. The notes were passed back and forth through the help of kids, a gesture so retro and sweet.
Meanwhile, Michelle predicted that Jinger's dad, Jim Bob, would cry as soon as he sees his daughter in her wedding regalia. She was never wrong. In fact, just within seconds of seeing her, Jim already broke down in tears. The three of them prayed together and Jinger got her dad a handkerchief with a note saying, "You are the first man that I ever loved. Know that when you give me away today, I will always be your little girl."
As the ceremony began, Jinger made her way down the aisle and Jeremy started crying. Midway through, the couple struggled lighting up the unity candle, but they managed it. The ceremony wrapped up with their first passionate kiss, which Jinger described as "amazing."
In other "Counting On" news, Joy-Anna Duggar revealed that she was being courted by her childhood friend Austin. Joy said they had already known each other for 15 years and that they were both excited to "take the next step."
