Covert Affairs Mid-Season 4 Premiere 2013 SPOILERS and RUMORS: "Dead" Episode Features Annie in Deep Cover While Her Team Mourns Her Death [TRAILER] [LIVE ONLINE STREAM]

Everyone has been anxiously awaiting the second half of season 4 of Covert Affairs ever since Annie "died" in the mid-season finale. Spoilers indicate that this half of the season will deal mainly with Annie's undercover mission to investigate Henry Wilcox. Piper Perabo, who plays Annie on Covert Affairs, spoke to reporters during an interview in Los Angeles. She said, "I was shocked that not everyone knew, I couldn't believe that we weren't gonna tell everybody. That puts incredible strain between the four that are left behind, because some know and some don't, and those that do have slightly differing opinions on whether to reach out or not."

Auggie, who is in the know about Annie's "death," now has to pretend like he's lost Annie in order to play his part of the deep cover operation. The show, if spoilers are to be believed, gets pretty dark after the season 4 premiere. Perabo says, "It gets pretty dark. Even in the locations; emotionally; physically; the danger, all of it... she has to operate from almost a criminal point of view, because she doesn't have the sanction of the CIA, and what she's doing, she knows how to do but she doesn't really have permission to do any of this. So you're meeting up with more nefarious people and putting yourself in compromising situations. As always with Annie, the balance is to keep her ethical core there."
