'Dead Rising 4' DLC Release Date, News Update: Pre-Order Available Now, Priced At $24.99

The pre-order for "Dead Rising 4" DLC has been announced ahead of the release date in December this year, according to the latest news.

Xbox News revealed that the "Dead Rising 4" DLC will come with the season pass, which is available for purchase at $24.99, and will include a mini-golf game that is as ridiculous as it comes.

Dubbed the "Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf," you get to play 18 holes of "wanton destruction." It's also multiplayer to as many as three at a time. Instead of golf clubs, you can choose some of Frank West's weapons such as a baseball bat, axe, samurai or chainsaw to putt or drive.

You find yourself in the fictional town of Willamette, Colorado, which will become the location of the mini-golf game.

Another sub-story you can get from "Dead Rising 4" DLC is titled "Frank Rising."

"In this DLC, Frank West is freshly infected and needs to find a cure before he becomes a zombie and is lost forever," the blog said. "While searching for a cure, Frank discovers that everything is not the same as it was."

Apparently, the zombies are not as dumb anymore, while somebody is thinking about putting Willamette on quarantine and wiping out from the face of the earth. You are fighting against time to stop this from happening before you become a full-blown zombie.

You can also opt for a Stuffer Holiday Pack where Christmas comes to Willamette, along with the zombies.

The "Dead Rising" DLC global release date will be on Dec. 6 for Xbox One and Windows 10, while it arrives in Japan on Dec. 8.
