According to the trailer promo for Episode 9, it looks like Deb is back on the Miami police force. So back at the Elway's PI firm, Deb's former boss contacts a federal marshal to help take down Hannah McKay.

The deputy and Bautista approach Dexter with questions about Hannah McKay's whereabouts. Though it doesn't seem the two are suspicious of their blood-spatter colleague, but that doesn't stop Dexter from making an urgent phone call asking why they'd be in his office. Who is he calling, Deb?

It looks like Dexter and his pseudo-mother Dr. Vogel have another disagreement regarding Zach's training. Dexter isn't he that Zach is copying his methods, while Vogel thinks it's a form of flattery and maturity.

Oh yea, and Quinn kisses Deb! What? After Quinn keeps barking about Zach killing Cassie, Dexter decides to kill his young protégé, and tells Deb he's already dead.

And who is that Dexter actually tranquilizes at the end of the episode trailer? He's definitely in Vogel's house. Who is "the messenger" Dexter puts down? Could it Vogel?
