Dexter's Michael C. Hall Switching to Broadway Play 'The Realistic Joneses, Talks Sequel Future for Showtime hit series

"Dexter" Star Michael C. Hall has been laying low from the spotlight the last few weeks since the hit Showtime series aired its final episode.

Many fans of "Dexter" were not satisfied with the way the series ended, but could there still be a sequel looming? Well for now Hall told Larry King that He can't "wrap [his] head" around a notion, and said that he would 'need to get way more distance from the character' before even thinking about the possibility of a new show. So while that may not be the best news for fans to hear, he definitely left the door open for a return in the future.

Michael C. Hall's next project however will be much different then the serial killer that he has played for the last several years. Hall will be taking his talents to the Broadway stage in the play The Realistic Joneses.

Hall will play the character of John Jones and while his role is not totally clear yet, The Realistic Joneses is described as, "Meet Bob and Jennifer, and their new neighbors John and Pony, two suburban couples who have more in common than their identical homes and the same last name on their mailboxes."

The writer for the play is Eno who has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for his work on his one-man show Thom Pain (based on nothing).

Are you excited Michael C. Hall is heading to Broadway or do you hope a 'Dexter' sequel or spin-off will happen in the coming years?
