'Diablo 2 HD' News & Rumors: Blizzard Entertainment Confirms That ‘Diablo’ Teaser Website Is Not Theirs

In line with Blizzard Entertainment's video game "Diablo 2" HD, the studio has debunked rumors about an alleged website for the game.

"This isn't ours," the studio told PC Gamer. As pe the publication, the pre-confirmation consensus among the publication's cognoscenti revealed that the site was fake, although the angle of a full-HD remaster was very thrilling for players.

Previously, an evilish-lookin website has reportedly surfaced at diablo2hd.com, which displays that "Evil Has Survived." As per the publication, the site has a count down and in between sees the skeletal face of the Lord of Terror Diablo, who has malevolent look.

It is added that the website was made on Aug. 18, which is nearly a year to the day following the announcement of a new "Diablo" project. At present, the website does not display the aforementioned details, but Go Daddy, along with acquiring a website domain. At this point, it is assumed that the site was taken down.

"Diablo" players will have to wait for the return of the titular Lord of Terror, as per iTech Post. According to the publication, the studio is still looking for a new game director who will take over Josh Msquera. Whether the studio is ready for "Diablo 2" HD or not, it is assumed that the studio remains tight-lipped to surprise players with the upcoming game.

"Diablo 2" may be announced at BlizzCon 2016, which is scheduled on Nov. 4 to Nov. 5.

As per reports, the event may reveal something new and devilish, such as the game's HD remaster.
