'Dracula' TV Show "Extremely Violent...Pornographic" According to One Million Moms / Pressures Sponsors to Withdraw Ads

Dracula may be one of the most talked-about new TV shows, but maybe not for the right reasons. Critics praise the show for a fresh, contemporary take on the popularized horror icon created by Bram Stoker. However, One Million Moms is none too happy, calling the new NBC show "extremely violent" and "entirely too graphic in too many ways."

Moms is calling for its near 60,000 supporters to write letters to NBC sponsors like Kraft Foods, Chattem and Bringer, asking them to withdraw ads if the show is not taken off the air. They posted this cautious message to the organization's official website:

"Warning! NBC's new program 'Dracula' airs on Friday evenings at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT with a TV-14-SV rating. The gory series will air on weekends when children and teens usually stay up later. Not only is this show extremely violent, but it also includes a high level of sexual content that should be considered pornographic material."

While many supporters agree with One Million Moms, some believe, since Dracula is not specifically targeted towards children, parents should focus less on nationwide censorship and more on personally monitoring what your children watch on TV.

Even though Dracula is violently and sexual promiscuous, do you think One Million Moms has a claim?
