Drake New Album 'Nothing Was The Same' Featuring Lil Wayne & Jay Z, Release Date Sept 2013

 

Drake will soon drop his new album Nothing Was The Same on Sept 17th which is exciting news for his fans, but the new record just got a little more mystique added to it. 

It now has been announced that both rappers Jay Z and Lil Wayne will make guest appearances on the new album. Kendrick Lamar might possibly make an spot on the upcoming LP as well. 

Drake released a song earlier this summer called "The Motion" which is expected to be on Nothing Was The Same. 

However, when the first official single "Hold On We're Going Home" released last week, fans got a taste a a different sound then Drake was shown in the past. 

Drake told MTV that he is going for a more timeless feel, like something you could hear at weddings for years to come. 

"It's not a rap record", said Drizzy. 

"I've never really put out a record like this before, so we'll see how it goes," Drake added.

Drake's last album Take Care was released in 2011 and has sold over 2 million copies.
