Drake to Release First New Music Since "Nothing Was the Same" During Pop-Up Shop Event in Six Different Cities December 14?
Drake is taking a page out of the Jay-Z playbook and not wasting any opportunities to make a little bank. In less than three months the "Nothing Was the Same" rapper is going to open up a 24-hour quick-shop in six different cities. Dreezy confirmed the opening date would December 14.
So if you're like Drake and trying to figure out what to give Rihanna this Christmas buy a plane ticket to New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, New Orleans, Miami or Toronto. Hours of operation are 12-7 PM.
Named Welcome to the Family, the shops will be a merger between October's Very Own and his record label Cash Money. As for the merchandise, no details have been confirmed.
This is the second time Drake has opened up shop like this before. Back in September Drake released "Nothing Was the Same" only five days after his pop-up shop event. There have been rumors that the Canadian rapper is planning on releasing five brand new, sizzle-hot tracks. Nothing's been announced but given Dreezy's reputation don't be surprised if the pop-up shop event is just the decoy to create a little bit of hype before he shows us a little bit of what he's been working on.
Will we hear the tunes that didn't make the "Nothing Was the Same" cut?
