'Duck Dynasty' Themed Bible School at Landis Church / Season 4 Cast Members Stop By to All Week for Daily Lessons

'Duck Dynasty' Themed Bible School at Landis Church / Season 4 Cast Members Stop By to All Week for Daily Lessons.

Duck Dynasty was the theme for Trinity Lutheran Church's bible school in Landis, North Carolina.

Camouflage, face-painted beards, and ducks were all part of the decorations for the church's bible school.

"It all started with a T-shirt," organizer Ashley Lanning said. "We decided to do camo shirts and one of the kids said 'Why don't we do Duck Dynasty.'"

Church organizer Emily Carden said the bible school was already up and running with a full curriculum, when 9-year old Makalyn Ramseur had the idea of using Duck Dynasty as the them, in hopes of attracting more kids.

"Everybody got so excited about it that it just grew from there," Carden said.

The weeklong event saw a different members of the cast from stop by to teach a different lesson. The Duck Dynasty wives were the first to stop by.

For any of you that have seen Duck Dynasty you know that Phil, Jase and Willie wouldn't be anywhere without the love and support [and sanity] of their three beautiful wives.

So the lesson of the night was "to show that God always supports us and takes care of us," Lanning said.

Uncle Si was next to stop by. God only knows if the kids could understand his slow pace and deep-rooted drawl.

"He's a little unusual, so the whole theme for that night was that we are special," Lanning explained. "God made each one of us different and we all have special gifts."

Unusual is an understatement, but it's for the kids.

Willie and Jase stopped by for teamwork night. Again, if you've seen the show, "teamwork" is a loose definition for Willie and Jase's relationship.

The last cast members to show up were Phil and Miss Kay. The couple's 50-year marriage was a perfect example of "sticking with it."

"In the ups and downs God sticks with us and we stick with God."

It's great to see the show isn't afraid to talk about God and religion, and do it in a way that's fun and refreshing.

Season 4 of Duck Dynasty premieres August 14 at 10 PM on A&E.
