"Duck Dynasty" Family Releases Christmas Album & Will Appear in 87th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Robertson family from hit reality TV show "Duck Dynasty" has released their family Christmas Album titled "Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas". The family teamed up with country stars like Alison Krauss, Josh Turner, and Luke Bryan to appear on the album.

Between 55,000 and 60,000 copies of the Christmas album may have been sold in its first week, according to Billboard, and it may land in the top five of the Billboard 200 chart this week. The Billboard 200's top 10 list will be released on Wednesday.

During an interview Willie Robertson spoke about the family project saying, "It is definitely from our perspective of a down-home middle-America Christmas. There is some funny stuff and then there is some serious stuff."

The outspoken Christian family also has plans to make an appearance at Macy's 87th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade being held later on this month. Jimmy Fallon, singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth, Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri, the rock band Goo Goo Dolls, rock artist Gavin DeGraw, and NFL legend Joe Namath will be alongside the Robertson clan.

This year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature 30 floats, 11 marching bands, 1600 dancers and cheerleaders, 900 clowns, 15 character balloons, and jolly ol' Saint Nicholas.

The motto for the parade is "A Holiday Treat for Children Everywhere" and will kick off November 28 at 9 AM in Manhattan.
