Could Phil Robertson really be leaving Duck Dynasty?

The head Robertson in charge may not have too much time left on the popular A&E series.

As the country anxiously awaits the August 14^th premiere of Duck Dynasty Season 4, rumors have been fanning the Internet the Robertson patriarch could be taking his talents elsewhere.

In an interview with Parade, Phil was asked how long he intended to be on the show. Phil replied: "Not long. But I think it'll go on without me."

Just a few days ago, Phil's oldest son Alan assured Duck Dynasty fans his father hasn't made any concrete plans to leave the show.

"There is no set time for Dad to leave," Alan, who is also joining the show for Season 4, told The Blaze. "He just meant that he can't see himself doing the show for as long as all of us 'young bucks.'"

"There are no plans for anyone to leave Duck Dynasty anytime soon," Alan Robertson added. "We do appreciate the love for the Robertson family out there and are looking forward to a great upcoming season and [those] beyond that will include Mom and Dad."
