Duck Dynasty Season 4 Premiere Breaks Cable Records on A&E, Highest Rated of All-Time? See What The Robertson Family Achieved Here

"Duck Dynasty" was back and better than ever last night and they have the ratings to prove the people enjoyed it to.

The oldest of the Robertson brothers, Alan, made his debut on the show and Phil and Kay got a surprise wedding celebration from the family .

Last night's one-hour Season 4 premiere 'Til Duck Do Us Part' brought in 11.8 million viewers, which ranks them No. 1 for a nonfiction series telecast in cable history.

Here is a deeper dig into the numbers from last night via Yahoo.

"The episode also set a cable record for a reality series telecast among adults 25-54 with 6.3 million viewers in the demo and became the No.1 series telecast in A&E history among adults 18-49 and 18-34 with 6.3 million and 3.0 million viewers, respectively. The previous A&E records in total viewers and all key demos were held by Duck Dynasty's third season finale, which averaged 9.6 million total viewers, 5.6 million adults 25-54, 5.5 million adults 18-49 and 2.6 million adults 18-34. Duck Dynasty also is poised to be the No.1 show on all of television, broadcast or cable, last night."

This is a great sign to cable networks that family friendly and faith based shows can work. Earlier this year "The Bible" series on the History Channel was a massigve success and now "Duck Dynasty" is taking over the reality world with wholesome, faith and family values that are great for America to see.
