"Eastbound and Down" Season 4 Series Finale Tonight on HBO

The raunchy comedy Eastbound and Down is coming to an end tonight on HBO with the season 4 and series finale. Eastbound and Down featured Kenny Powers, played by Danny McBride, on his journey to reclaim his former glory as a Major League Baseball pitcher. The show exploded onto the scene when season 1 came out and audiences have been hooked over the past 4 seasons.

Eastbound and Down succeeds as a show due to not only the over the top humor from Kenny and other characters, but in the way that it captures southern mysticism in a way that other shows could not. The show said more about southern culture in the United States in the way the characters presented themselves rather than what they said or did.

The series finale of the show tonight will feature some old faces such as Will Ferrell and a few new faces such as Matthew McConaughey.
