The scarcity in the news on the "Elder Scrolls 6" particularly on the release date and trailer is disconcerting. Not a few fans are expecting that perhaps, they've been had by Bethesda and will just have to content themselves with the Skyrim Special Edition later this year.

According to Digital Spy, there's solid basis to think that "Elder Scrolls 6" is coming even with the dearth of news on the trailer and release date.

Pete Hines, Bethesda vice president, said that the game's lore and solid fanbase are not lost on them. But they are not just going to release a game out there in order to cash in.

"They'd be spitting out a Skyrim 2 the year after or two years later. That's just not how we view it," he said. "[We] make sure everything we do is noteworthy. Our approach to that hasn't differed."

Also, it seems Bethesda has issued an open call for somebody who has "Experience with The Elder Scrolls Construction Set."

But then in a tweet message in reply to a fan's question, Hines said that "Elder Scrolls 6" is not in the pipeline as of now. However, that doesn't discount the fact that they would make it "eventually."

According to GameNGuide, the sixth installment might carry the title, "The Elder Gods: VI," with a development two years from now and possible release date of 2019. Of course, there's no news from Bethesda to confirm this rumor.
