Just as fans are rooting for a fairy tale love story between 'Harry Potter' actress Emma Watson and Prince Harry, Watson shut down the rumors by posting a message on Twitter.

Many are already gushing on the possible romance between the two British personalities but apparently, it is not true. "WORLD Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media?!" Watson wrote on her Twitter, dismissing the false rumors being reported about her and Prince Harry dating.

The actress then posted another message saying that she doesn't need a prince to be a princess as she shared a link of a video clip from the 1995 film A Little Princess. Meanwhile, there is still no word from the other party who was rumored to be always having an interest towards the actress. Prince Harry was even rumored to have sent an email to Watson asking her out on a date upon finding out the she and her former boyfriend and rugby player Matthew Janney split up.

An Australian magazine, Woman's Day first reported the rumor claiming that the two are dating. "After numerous failed relationships, it looks like notorious bachelor Prince Harry has found love with gorgeous Harry Potter star Emma Watson," the magazine claimed.

The magazine even confidently stated that the two are secretly dating. "Woman's Day can exclusively reveal the pair are having secret dates with each other and are getting to know each other quite well," the magazine continued.

But apparently, the reports are false as Watson ended all possibilities. Other news agencies like US Magazine have had sources as well saying that the rumors are indeed false. "[It's] fake. It's such a random story," a source from the magazine revealed.
