The truth will finally be revealed in the upcoming episode of "Empire" season 3.

Titled "One Before Another," episode 5 of the hit musical drama will be packed with new revelations.

Based on the official synopsis for the episode, Lucious and Andre will remain on high alert as they wait for Shine's next move following his threat in their last business encounter. Meanwhile, Jamal will continue to doubt if he will be able to perform live in front of his fans as he teams up with his younger brother Hakeem for a special number that can potentially help him overcome his fears. Cookie's probation officer will also arrive unexpectedly for a routine meeting.

In episode 4 titled "Cupid Kills," Lucious threatened his young councilman and Cookie's new love interest, Angelo. Fans of the series can expect tension to grow even more intense between Lucious and Angelo in the upcoming episode, as Lucious is determined to fight and Angelo is definitely not backing down.

In his interview with Entertainment Tonight, "Empire" co-executive producer Matt Pyken said, "We know of course that Lucious is never going to back down and Cookie's resisting, she's doing the best she can."

"Angelo, who's not used to this world, he's used to the rough and tumble of politics, is not going to take it lying down. We've got one immovable object and two immovable forces; expect this to intensify," he added.
