Evelyn Lozada of Basketball Wives Announces Engagement to LA Dodgers Outfielder Carl Crawford (PICTURE)
Basketball Wives star, Evelyn Lozada, has revealed that she will marry Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford in a special good news announcement on Christmas day.
Lozada's latest wedding declaration has many gossip experts wondering if there will be a new Baseball Wives spinoff coming soon.
According to TMZ, The former Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox star athlete proposed marriage to Lozada after she received her Christmas gift from Crawford. Her present was a 14.5 carat Diamond Engagement ring valued at $1.4 Million.
"Yes!" wrote The Basketball Wives star when she announced that she accepted Crawford's proposal via her Instagram account along with a photo of the ring. See the ring here.
The couple has been reportedly dating each other for almost a year after Evelyn requested a divorce from then husband, former NFL star Chad (Ochocinco) Johnson.
Lozada divorced Johnson last year after the NFL athlete allegedly assaulted her during a quarrel after she discovered a receipt for contraceptives in the back of his car.
Prior to Chad Ochocinco, she was engaged to former NBA star of the Boston Celtics, Antoine Walker.
Lozada is currently seven months pregnant with Crawford's baby. In addition, she also has a 20-year-old daughter named Shaneice from a previous relationship.
The 32-year-old Carl spared no expense from his seven-year $142 million dollar contract he originally signed with the Boston Red Sox. Crawford had the famed ring designer Jason of Beverly Hills create the sparkling masterpiece for his future bride.
