"I wanted to hit stronger messages on this album instead of doing a whole concept behind it," says vocalist Danny Martinez. "I decided to write full songs that would hit certain people at home. Like one song is about being judged and coming together to be bigger than the people that try to push you around. There's a song that's about wanting to become better than you are and how you are going to have to go out and do something about it to make it happen. Then there are a couple I wrote about heartbreak, as well."
