'Fallout 4' News, Release Date, Characters: 'The Player' and His Great Great-Grandfather
Gamers have been left hanging in anticipation as news about the upcoming title, 'Fallout 4', has been scarce. As it stands, there is no release date listed for the title on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and some reports say that the game may not be released at all.
While there is little information available about the title, there are some rumors concerning its development. Some fans believe that the game is currently being developed for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC, but other people from the gaming community believe that the game's production has been stopped by Bethesda, and command has been passed over to Battle Studios.
Other rumors suggest that 'Fallout 4' will be set in post-apocalyptic Boston, a place known in the game as "The Commonwealth".
Supposed leaked documents that contain details about the highly anticipated post-apocalyptic RPG game suggest that the fourth 'Fallout' project is being referred to as "The Institute".
The alleged leaked files seem to indicate that the main character, a fully customizable character only known as "The Player", will be joined by his great great-grandfather, who served in the 1945 war, in the upcoming 'Fallout 4' game.
According to reports, the only other character that can be considered as also likely to be seen in the forthcoming title is Galaxy Radio News DJ Triple Dog.
The voice actor for the character, Erik Todd Dellums, may have confirmed as early as January of last year that he will once again be heard as Triple Dog in 'Fallout 4' when he made the announcement on his official Twitter account.
