The "Family Guy" season 12 premiere episode airs on Sunday, September 29^th, 2013. There are major spoilers that indicate that one of the members of the "Family Guy" family will be killed off for at least one episode. Executive producer Steve Callaghan, in an interview at Comic Con in San Diego, said, "One special episode we have for the fall, we're going to kill off one of the Griffin family and replace them with a different character. From time to time, we like to do an episode where we take our characters and put them in familiar works of art. It's kind of theft, but we pretend it's an homage."
