Fast and Furious 7 star Vin Diesel remembers his former friend and co-star Paul Walker by taking a look back at their friendship.

Diesel posted a comment yesterday in remembrance of his fallen friend. "There was always moments of child-like laughter...We had accomplished so much by 2013. P.s. The complexities of Brotherhood, and the painful void...of it's absence," wrote Vin Diesel on his Facebook page Thursday.

Diesel is best known for his role as Dominic Torretto in the Fast and Furious franchise.

The star of the Chronicles of Riddick also announced last month the new release date for the new Fast and the Furious movie.

"The last scene we filmed together. There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared ... in the film we were now completing... the magic captured ... and, in just how far we've come...Fast and Furious 7 will be released...April 10th 2015! P.s. He'd want you to know first," wrote Vin Diesel via Facebook on December 22 after the film was delayed after Walker's death.

Prior to Walker's tragic car accident, the film was expected to be released in theaters this year on July 11.

Walker's claim to fame was when he first played the legendary role of Brain O'Conner in the first Fast and the Furious film in 2001.

Walker's accident occurred on November 30.
