'Five Nights At Freddy's Sister Location' Release Date: Game’s Roam Gameplay Details Unveiled, Scott Cawthon Says That The Game Is Risky
In line with Scott Cawthon's "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location's" new gameplay feature, the developer unveiled that the forthcoming game is a risk.
In a statement, as cited by Chat Sports Net, Cawthon said that it was just the nature of adding something new to any series and a risk that every developer took. He added that he had no idea what the response would be, but everyone might love it or anyone might hate it.
"Obviously, I hope that the response will be positive! Only time will tell," Cawthon said.
In other news, "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" is set to include a free roam feature, which players have seen from the game's predecessor. According to Reddit user collinlopezrox_gamin, the said feature is not a full 3D free roam; it is similar to the game's fourth installment, but bigger.
"It's confirmed from the vents and the fact that you are in different rooms in the screenshots. I'm hyped, anyone else?," the Redditor said.
According to The Bitbag, players also think about a stiff motion system that will keep and force players to commit to the room they are in in the forthcoming game. As per the publication, players may have to do something in the room as they enter and they will not be permitted to leave until things are done.
As per the report, the concept is a form of a lock, which helps them explore options that are close to visual novels. Also, such free roam stiffness may not be appealing to both old and new players.
"Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" is set to be released for iOS, Android, and Microsoft Windows on Oct. 7.
