Change is coming in Totsuki Academy in the new season of "Food Wars: Shokugei No Soma."

Spoilers for "Food Wars: Shokugei No Soma" season 3 suggest that something is going to change in the academy as a new headmaster is appointed to take over Totsuki.

In the previous season, the headmaster of the academy was the grandfather of Nakiri Erina. In season 3, he will be replaced by Erina's father, who is the son of the former headmaster. Based on spoilers for the new season, the new headmaster does not share the same views as his father when it comes to managing the academy. That said, everyone in Totsuki should gear up for some big changes.

There are theories that the change in the school management will force Erina to move out and transfer to Polar Star Dormitory. Fans speculate that this will be Erina's way of rebelling against his father for dissolving all the research societies in the academy, thinking that they are all nothing but a waste of time and resources. If the new headmaster pushes through with his plan to dissolve the research societies, then Erina will transfer to the place where Yukihira Soma currently resides.

"Food Wars: Shokugei No Soma" season 3 premieres in 2017 and will feature brand new and more exciting cooking wars.

 While there has been no official announcement yet as to the number of episodes that will comprise the upcoming season, there are rumors that season 3 will have no less than 12 episodes.
