Nick Saban Said to Leave Alabama for Texas, " Texas Is The Only Place I'd Go" Agent say's Saban is Facing Pressure

Reportedly, Nick Saban's agent told Texas officials sometime this Fall that the Longhorns would be the only school that he would consider leaving Alabama for, and the success from the Crimson Tide has put him under some extreme pressure. Saban has had a long record of victories as he was Head Coach for the Miami Dolphins and three other universities such as Louisiana State, Michigan State, and University of Toledo. In 2008, Forbe's Magazine named Saban "The Most Powerful Coach in Sports". He and Paul "Bear" Bryant are the only two head coaches to ever win two consecutive SEC Championships at two different schools. During Sabans reign at the University of Alabama, he has led the Crimson Tide to thee BCS and AP national championships during the six-years that he has been head coach.

The agent Jimmy Sexton, made the comment about Saban leaving Alabama in a phone call with Texas Regent Tom Hicks, and current regent Wallace Hall on Sept. 24th. The phone interview was detailed in a email stating,  "Sexton confirmed that UT is the only job Nick would possibly consider leaving Alabama for, and that his success there created special pressure for him,". The exact pressure Sexton was talking about is still unclear, both Sexton and Saban have been unavailable for comment since the phone call. Saban has reportedly stated that he had no recolection of a meeting with Texas and that he believes he is too old to start over somewhere else. Alabama has currently won the last two National titles and remain at No.1 in the SEC. It is also still unclear who originally initiated the contact between Sexton and the Texas Representative, but Texas assures the press that it was indeed Sexton who reached out to them. Nevetheless, Alabama fans can wipe the sweat off their faces as it looks like the beloved Nick Saban is here to stay.
