Francesca Battistelli's New Album If We're Honest Scheduled to Release on April 22

Francesca Battistelli's third studio album, If We're Honest, is scheduled to release on April 22. 

The album features 11 tracks all co-written by Battistelli and produced by GRAMMY-nominated and Dove Award-winning producer and her longtime collaborator Ian Eskelin.

Battistelli's brand new single, "Write Your Story" received the most adds at Christian radio for the New Year week with 73 stations supporting it. The single is currently available for download on iTunes.

Fans can pre-order If We're Honest and a deluxe version featuring three additional tracks on iTunes January 14. The mega Christian book store LifeWay will offer a physical version of the single with the pre-buy of the physical album on February 14.

New York native Battisteli, released her debut album My Paper Heart, In 2008, which featured popular tune "Free To Be Me." The album secured her a nomination and a win at the Gospel Music Association Dove Award's for "Female Vocalist of the Year."

Sales of her debut album exceeded 500,000 with digital sales of over 775,000 tracks. It was certified Gold and was the first debut album from a CCM artist in nearly a decade to receive that honor.

Following her debut, the singer released Hundred More Years in March 2011. Since then she has obtained several tours, a Pepsi endorsement by featuring her image on one of their cans, and released a Christmas album.

Kicking off the New Year, the singer was granted the opportunity to perform at the legendary Grand Ole Opry along with Riders In The Sky and Del McCoury Band also performing that night.

In the coming months Battistelli will be touring in support of If We're Honest, commencing with the "Hands of God Tour" with Sanctus Real on February 7 in Decatur, TX. "Hands of God" is also the title of a new track on her album co-written by and featuring Sanctus Real's Matt Hammitt.
