'Friends' Reunion 2013: Matthew Perry and Courtney Cox Reunite on 'Cougar Town' Season 5, Set to Premiere January 7 on TBS

Months ago rumors surrounding a possible Friends reunion in 2013 took the Internet by storm. Though each cast member has denied speculation ever since, fans of the popular NBC sitcom can look forward to a reunion of sorts, when Matthew Perry guest stars on Season 5 of Courtney Cox's TBS comedy Cougar Town.

After appearing on Perry's brief NBC show Go On, Perry is paying his old Friends co-star back for the favor. Former cast mates Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow have also guest stared on Cougar Town.

Very few details have been leaked about Perry's role but given the fact that Cox's character is married, it's unlikely the two will be romantically involved. But with enough red wine anything's possible!

On being Cox's love interest in Go On, for the first time since they donned the roles Mr. and Mrs. Bing, Perry said it was "very surreal," in an interview with Access Hollywood.

Cox added: "Nothing has changed! Literally! From the producers coming in to the process of learning the lines, all of it [is the same] except for the way we look!"

Though it might not be the Friends reunion you were hoping for, are you excited to see Perry and Cox on TV together again?
