According to @evleaks, the veteran leaker distributed what seemed be the first sample image taken with the Galaxy S5 to surface online. The image does not reveal S5's camera quality, on the other hand it does seem to validate that the device will feature a 16MP camera sensor.
The image was shared from the Flipboard news and social curation app by user @123fliptest nearly three weeks ago. The EXIF data reveals the resolution of the original file was 5,312 × 2,988 (about 16MP), but given the 16:9 format of the shot, it is likely that the camera used to take it had a 21MP resolution in the standard 4:3 format.
Conferring to the EXIF information, the photo was taken with a SAMSUNG-SM-G900V, which may perhaps be Verizon's version of the Galaxy S5. That is assuming the image metadata was not altered with.
These statistics do not disclose anything separately, but they should be helpful in the upcoming weeks when additional information is guaranteed to be revealed as the S5's unveiling approaches.
According to Android Authority, Samsung is firm on grabbing the attention of consumers with a drastically different design and a back to the essentials method in 2014. The Galaxy S5 should be nothing like its previous prototypes.
