'Ghost Recon: Wildlands' Release Date, New Details: Open Beta Starts ‘Next Quarter’

The "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" open beta will reportedly begin next quarter, which CEO Yves Guillemot himself confirmed during the recent earnings call.

According to Gamespot, the CEO did not specify just when the "next quarter" would be.

But considering that November is already part of the last quarter for its second half of fiscal 2016-2017, the "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" open beta might be set at the start of next year in time for the launch date of Mar. 7, 2017.

Guillemot called the game as "revolutionary" as they aim to build on the success of "The Division" last year.

"We expect in the next quarter to do some open betas and closed betas that will help a lot on the players to actually know what the game is and what it can become," he said. "We are very confident it will excite gamers a lot.

As to the system requirements for "Ghost Recon: Wildlands," you need to have at least a Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only), as well as a processor of Intel Core i5-2400 | AMD FX-6100, or better, 6GB of RAM and graphics of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 with 2 GB VRAM or AMD Radeon HD 7770 with 2 GB VRAM.

But it's recommended that you have an Intel Core i7-3770 | AMD FX-8350 processor, or better, about 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290.
