Glee may be wrapping up soon but new reports have emerged that show creator Ryan Murphy is planning a spinoff that would be about Lea Michele and her character, Rachel Berry.

According to a report from RadarOnline an insider source claims the show is "definitely" happening and would be announced soon.

"They're make the deals now and it also presents a viable exit plan for the main Glee series itself in that some of its core cast would also migrate to the Lea Michele project as Glee is showing signs of aging," the insider told Radar.

A spinoff around Lea Michelle could be the best way for the show to shed the lingering residue in the wake of cast member Cory Monteith's sudden death. Reports claim the writers are still unsure where to take Season 5, which may cause the popular musical series to end after Season 6.

If the rumors are true, would that mean the entire show move to New York City where Rachel currently lives, instead of the back and forth to McKinley High?
