Glenn Beck Offered Billy Graham a Speech at Sold Out Cowboys Stadium
Talk show host and radio celebrity Glenn Beck sold out Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX for his program "Restoring Love" in July. Around that time, Beck heard that Billy Graham had "one last sermon to give," so Beck offered the sold out Cowboys arena to him so he could deliver this message to as many people as possible.
Beck said, "I thought that maybe we had rented Dallas Cowboys Stadium and sold all the tickets already for him. So, I called him up and said... 'I'm just making it available. I already have all the tickets sold.' It's not like, hey, can you come and help us. It's already all sold, everything. And you know, maybe this is what it's for. So, I offered him Dallas Cowboys Stadium and said I wouldn't do anything that night at Dallas Cowboys Stadium."
Graham ended up declining the offer because "it was not the right time."
Graham's last sermon came at his recent 95th birthday in the form of a film called "My Hope" that talked about his challenges for Christianity in the near future.
