Radio Show Host Glenn Back Offered Sold Out Dallas Cowboys Stadium to Billy Graham for "Last Sermon"
The Blaze reports, that Glenn Beck offered a sold-out Dallas Cowboys stadium to 95-year evangelistic icon Billy Graham after hearing the aging pastor was going to deliver one last sermon.
Though his "Restoring Love" event in July at the massive complex has come and gone, Beck revealed on his radio show Thursday that he thought, even though the event was booked, maybe it was destined to serve as the cite for Graham's final message.
"I don't know if we ever talked about this on the air, but when we had 'Restoring Love,' and we had sold all the tickets and everything else, I wondered if maybe that whole thing wasn't supposed to be for (Billy Graham.)"
Genuinely thinking the senior evangelist might actually do it, the radio show personality eventually resolved the timing just wasn't right.
"I thought that maybe we had rented Dallas Cowboys Stadium and sold all the tickets already for him," said Beck. "So, I called him up and said... "I'm just making it available. I already have all the tickets sold. It's not like, hey, can you come and help us. It's already all sold, everything. And you know, maybe this is what it's for. So, I offered him Dallas Cowboys Stadium [and said] I wouldn't do anything that night at Dallas Cowboys Stadium."
