'God Of War 4' Latest News, Update, Rumors: Playable On PS4, But May Have No Future Demos?
Along with talks about changed mechanics from the predecessors, Sony's "God of War 4" players may not expect future game demos. Also, they can play the game outside the PlayStation 4 Pro, as per reports.
According to Santa Monica, as per Yibada, the studio is still uncertain about the game's release. It is added that the studio is not set to release a game demo, since they want to concentrate on the game's overall development. Also, the developers would reportedly take a month to devote time on crafting the game's demo, not to mention the potential delays for the game's release date.
In other news, players can still play the game, even though they do not opt to upgrade to Sony' new PlayStation 4 Pro, Ubergizmo has learned. As per the publication, this is feasible, as the game will be improved based on the latest PlayStation 4 standards. Thus, it is not imperative for players to use the PlayStation 4 Pro to play the game.
"Hard at work on the game, no demo. Game is bet better the fewer demos we do. Demos pull a month or two away from final game," game director Cory Barlog said, as cited by the publication.
In line with the game, reports also said that it is set to have a sum of 100 hours of gameplay. As per iTech Post, this has reportedly saddened some players who have greater expectations from the game. Barlog clarified that the details were false, since the game was set to run more than the said length.
Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, "God of War 4" is set to be released for the PlayStation 4, with exact details on the release date yet to be revealed. The game is assumed to come out in 2017.
