Golden Globe Award Nominations and Predictions 2014: Will Breaking Bad and House of Cards Prove to Be the Big Winners This Year? [Host Roundup]

The Golden Globes 2014 are finally here so we can stop with the predictions about what the best movies and shows were of this year. Viewers can expect to see crowd favorites Tina Fey and Amy Poehler returning again as the hosts for this year's 2014 Golden Globe Awards.

So let's take a look at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards nominations and then let's see what some critic's predictions are for the winners. First, the drama category included the nominations 12 Years a Slave, Gravity, Captain Phillips, Philomena, and Rush. The best musical comedy category includes American Hustle, Her, Inside Llewyn Davis, Nebraska, and The Wolf of Wall Street.

Some critics were surprised that Rush, the new Ron Howard racecar film, beat out Lee Daniels' The Butler for a Golden Globe Nomination this year.

The nominations that had viewers the most excited, however, were the inclusion of Netflix's original series House of Cards and fan favorite Breaking Bad starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. House of Cards received for nominations while Breaking Bad received three.

To bring up the rear of the list of nominations for this year's Golden Globe Awards, The Croods, Despicable Me 2, and Frozen were all nominated for best animated feature. Frozen recently broke several records at the box office this Thanksgiving season along with the insanely popular movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire starring Jennifer Lawrence.
