Google Daydream VR Release Date, Price News: Latest Gadget Best For You?

The release date for the Google Daydream VR has been confirmed to be on Nov. 10, which is only days away before people can get their hands on the latest gadget from the search giant.

The headset is tied with the new Google Pixel and Pixel XL, which already run the Android Nougat right out of the box. The more expensive phone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 with quad-core CPU (2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo) mated to Adreno 530 GPU.

The 5.5-inch phone has AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels or 534ppi.

The Daydream VR is quite different from the Google Cardboard that was introduced earlier, while the latter only requires minimum specs for it to work, the Daydream View has higher standards on image quality and processor speed to ensure no lag time.

But if you have no Google Pixel or Pixel XL, not to worry since the Daydream View will work on any Android phone as long as it meets the standard.

When the Google Daydream VR release date comes along, people can also avail of the apps like broadsheets, Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, or games like "Danger Goat" and "Gunjack 2." There's also a virtual experience as part of the movie promo for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

Google Daydream VR can be purchased on the release date at a price of $79. Aside from the Google website, Best Buy and Verizon are also offering the headset in the US. It will also be commercially distributed in Australia, Canada, Germany and the UK.
