Google Nexus 5 Specs, Price, and Release Date NEWS: Rumors Update for Newest Google SmartPhone [VIDEO]

Rumors have it that there will be an official reveal of the Google Nexus 5 Smartphone somewhat soon here in the United States. The specs, price and release date are all only speculation at this point, but there are a few things we know for sure. The Google Nexus 5 will have a 5.2 inch OLED display and Full HD capabilities, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 System-On-Chip running at 2.3 GHz, with 3GB of PDDR3 memory.

Google hasn't done a very good job keeping the design hidden from the public eye seeing as many leaked photos of the phone being used by Google employees have surfaced on the Internet.

The new Android OS, 4.4 Kitkat, has been kept under wraps pretty well by Google, but we do know that the Nexus 5 will run this software.

The prices will vary for the Google Nexus 5 depending on how much memory you want in the phone. The 32 GB model will cost about $399.

David Ludlow from ExpertReviews.com wrote an article about the release date of the Google Nexus 5. He wrote, "At the beginning of the year, many were expecting Google to reveal a new Nexus alongside the latest version of Android at its annual IO conference. The May event came and went without either product making an appearance, however, as did the launch of refreshed Nexus 7 tablet."

Other rumors suggested an October 15^th reveal, but that date has come and gone as well.
