Google Photos News & Update: Sharing Made Even Easier?
There's some good news being dropped for users of Google Photos as sharing photos and images has never been easier with the recent update from the search giant.
According to the report from Greenbot, there are two major changes in Google Photos. One is to import the chosen photo right into the application so you don't need another third-party app in order to send images to another. This was one of the problems faced by Android users in using Google Photos.
One other change that's a welcome news for Google Photos users is the app choosing from among your photos to make a "movie" or GIF using predictive technology and artificial intelligence to make the type of movie that you would have wanted to do yourself.
Tim Novikoff, Google Photos product manager, explained to TechCrunch, "People have told us 'it would be wonderful if Google Photos could make a movie showing my child growing up over the course of years so we're doing that, with one movie concept."
Meanwhile, TechnoBuffalo added that it's now very easy to share images through the app with the new update. You can just tap on the image you want to send, and press the share button found on the bottom left corner. Then choose from among your contact list who you want to send the photo to, you can also include a text if you want before pressing the send button.
It's also quite easy to receive photos. If the recipient has no Google Photos app, then they can get the photo through a text message or email, then they follow the link, according to the news article.
